Prediabetes and Diabetes Remission Clinic – Centre ÉPIC
Running for one year, the Prediabetes and Diabetes Remission Clinic at the Centre ÉPIC is designed for people living with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes. Led by a specialized team of nurses, kinesiologists, nutritionists, and physicians, the clinic offers supervised exercise sessions, personalized consultations with nutritionists, and conferences on diabetes, nutrition, and physical activity.
Available both in person and online, the program requires in-person visits to the Centre ÉPIC in Montréal at the start, as well as at 3, 6, and 12 months for assessments.
The clinic is available to Centre ÉPIC Gold members, as well as to patients referred by the Montreal Heart Institute. The program is offered in French, but our professionals can communicate with participants in English when needed.
Format
Bimodal: a combination of in-person and online sessions.
Approach
Evidence-based, the clinic focuses on sustainable changes in nutrition and physical activity. It places participants at the centre of the process, supporting greater autonomy and informed decision-making.
